THERE WILL BE SHUTTLES TRANSPORTING GUESTS TO THE CEREMONY FROM THE MARSHALL HOUSE AND ANDAZ HOTEL AT 4:40PM. Look celebrating with everyone soon! We’re so happy that you’re visiting our wedding website—welcome! We designed this website to provide our wedding guests with basic information about our wedding weekend. Whether you live close by or far away, you’re reading this because you play a special part in our lives. Our family and friends played an integral role in our love story, and we can’t tell that story without discussing the relationships that brought us to this joyous time. During his freshman year of college in Washington, DC, Luke and Catherine’s sister, Andrea, lived in the same college dormitory. As fellow Georgians who enjoyed a good time and who weren’t from Atlanta, they quickly became good friends. A year later, Luke met Catherine (and the rest of her family) during a trip back to Georgia for Andrea’s debutante ball in 2005. While Luke saw Catherine occasionally and recognized her appeal early on, he lived in Washington and Catherine lived in Texas. While Catherine moved back to Athens in 2009, Luke spent another four years in DC. After Luke moved back to Georgia, it only took a few months for Luke and Catherine to reconnect and, as they say, the rest is history. They spent many weekends driving back and forth from Athens and Savannah to see each other during the early days of their relationship. Like Luke, Catherine always loved Savannah, and once they fell in love with each other, Savannah seemed like a natural place to make a home together. Whether you’ve visited before or are visiting for the first time, we can’t wait for our friends and family to be in Savannah—our adopted home—for the happiest day of our lives!
